I pay another service to manage my email technology to ensure that your email unsubscribe requests are taken care of easily and automatically; however unfortunately, sometimes a few problems can arise that may make it difficult for you. I have worked with them to create a list of the most common reasons why you may be having difficulty unsubscribing, in hopes that you can resolve the issue yourself with the least amount of effort.
(Trust me, I understand - there are few things more annoying than trying to unsubscribe from somebody's list and being unable to do so! Like you, I also subscribe to receive emails and when I want to unsubscribe, I expect it to work.)
Most Common Reasons Why Unsubscribing Doesn't Work
(1) There was a temporary technical problem with the email management service and the 'Unsubscribe' link is broken. – In this case, just wait a few minutes or hours and then try again. Often the problem will resolve itself.
(2) You sent me an email and asked to be Unsubscribed, but you are still receiving my emails. – Sometimes your emails go into the spam folder and we never see them. Also, due to the large amount of email we receive, it may take us a couple of days before we see your email requesting an Unsubscribe. Because I sometimes schedule emails in advance (about 2 times per week), your Unsubscribe request may not have been received by the time I send another email. The best thing you can do is click the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email. This is the fastest, most automatic way to unsubscribe.
(3) There was a temporary problem with your internet connection and the 'Unsubscribe' link didn't work.– In this case, just wait a few minutes or hours and then try again. This problem will usually resolve itself once your internet connection is restored.
(4) You received the email in plain-text format and the 'Unsubscribe' link doesn't work. – Sometimes the 'Unsubscribe' link gets broken into two lines, so when you click the link it is incomplete (half of it is still hanging on the second line). If you receive plain-text emails and experience this problem, make sure that you copy/paste both of the lines of the 'Manage Your Subscription' link together. Then manually copy them into the part of your internet browser where you type website addresses that you want to visit. This will take you to my Unsubscribe page where you can do so quickly and easily.
If you've tried all of the above solutions and none of them work, please click here and contact us so that we can Unsubscribe you manually. This is usually the slowest way to unsubscribe (because it's not automated), and I understand that sometimes when all else fails this is the only option.
Again, I apologize for any inconveniences you may have had with unsubscribing, and I wish for you a wonderful day!
